Game Setup

Cards's initial setup is near-identical to Uno. Seven cards are distributed to each player, then the remaining deck (the draw pile) is placed face-down somewhere within reach of all players. The table may agree to use Custom Cards, which are brought out during card distribution. When ready, the dealer then flips the first card of the deck, and places it to the side of the draw pile. This is the play pile. Upon doing this, the game starts. Failure to say "Let it rip" is a penalty to the dealer. Play begins with the dealer, after which turns go counter-clockwise. The play pile functions as the discard piles from Crazy Eights / Uno. On the other side of the draw pile, is the discard pile, where cards are placed after being discarded.
